Picture
The ORR School District will continue to provide professional development opportunities in the area of technology via "Technology Courses". Many staff members have participated and have found the courses benefit their teaching by infusing current technology.
We are very interested in offering courses tailored to your interest. Please contact us to let us know what you would like to see offered.
Information related to our current course offerings as well as Blog topic on technology and Tech Talks by teachers can be found below. Please view our Tech Camp Workshops tab above to see what has been offered in the past...

Tech Camp will also offer an "IWB - Interactive Whiteboard Training 2 - Next Generation" course to all District staff for 3 Inservice Credits, 3 Graduate Credits from Cambridge College, or for Supermax use. Even if you have taken the Easiteach IWB offered in the past, this course is for you! The new Mac operating system OS Lion is compatible with this software! If you plan to upgrade you may want to learn this exciting NEXT GENERATION of Interactive Software. This course, presenting the newer version of RM Easiteach - Next Generation, like in the past course,  will be interactive in nature with students (teachers) viewing demonstrations of the three levels of board use as well as participating in using each level during class breakout sessions. The follow-up assignments will be based on skills learned and will be presented the following session. All assignments will be posted in a ‘drop box’ to be shared with other colleagues. Students will attend class sessions, access help sessions as needed, participate in lesson activities, and prepare lessons to use IWB in their classrooms. Course description will be available soon so keep checking back!
